How an engagement runs

The sector determines the qualifications, the timing and the search approach. The workflow stays consistent: a structured brief, a discreet search, a properly researched shortlist and end-to-end offer support. No CV storms, no pressure tactics, no unexpected fees.

1. Sector-aware kickoff

We arrive at the mandate call ready. We already know the qualification landscape for the sector, the comp bands, the passive market and the sector-specific interview process. Your intake time is spent on your business, not our education.

2. Discreet search

We approach the network and the active market confidentially. Client identity is withheld until you give express permission. Approaches to a candidate’s current employer, or to any employer where there is a sensitivity, are coordinated with you before we make them.

3. Ranked shortlist

Three to five candidates per mandate, properly vetted, with our written notes on each. Qualifications, sector fit, comp expectations, notice period and reference readiness confirmed before introduction. We rank the shortlist and explain our ranking. We do not just send a stack of CVs.

4. Offer, settlement and follow-up

We manage the interview process, coordinate feedback, structure the offer, handle counter-offer conversations and confirm start-date logistics. Follow-up check-ins at day 30 and day 90 to make sure the placement settles.

What sits outside our scope

Roles that are not finance-adjacent. If you ask us for a marketing director, a software engineer or a plant manager, we will refer you out with pleasure. Depth of focus is what makes our finance shortlists arrive faster and better matched than a generalist desk can manage.
